Good morning, everyone! Welcome back for one more day of
Papertrey Ink May release inspiration. Today I'm sharing a project made with
Betsy Veldman's latest installment in the
Year Of Psalms series. This set, along with the rest of the May release, is available now on the Papertrey Ink website. Let's get to it!
I began by creating a stencil from vellum using the Cover Plate: Blue Skies Rays Die. I just die cut the sunbeams shape from a panel of vellum and then extended the rays just a little bit with a craft knife and straight edge.
Then, I stenciled the sun and rays onto a white card base. I went back with the long, narrow ray from Blue Skies and stamped additional rays.
Next, I sponged the bottom of the card base with Aqua Mist ink. I added speckles with clean water and Aqua Mist reinker for some added texture. Then I stamped the sentiment amidst the sunbeams using Smokey Shadow ink.
I die cut two Cover Plate: Blue Skies layers from white cardstock and trimmed out clouds from each. I attached them to the card front with flat and foam adhesives to finish the scene.
Thank you so much for joining me today! Make sure to pop in on Nichole Heady to see who else has projects to share with you this morning. Have a wonderful weekend and I'll see you again soon!

This is absolutely beautiful, Lizzie. I love the clean colors and fresh look of your scene.
I love what you did with the sunbeams! I would love to learn how to create a stencil...perhaps an idea for MIM?
Very good Post Completely, it inspired me a lot by reading every line form top to bottom, Thanks for sharing your expertise all though :)
