Dash Away All - Day 5

Good morning, friends! Welcome to Day 5 of the Papertrey Ink October New Release Countdown! I'm here today with one more Dash Away All card to share with you. This one is actually by special request. Kathy Mc asked if I would mind sharing a card using the Wonderland Scenes Stencils with my new set. I had planned on it, but her request was just the push I needed to get these products together. It just so happens they're a fantastic match!

Peace On Earth Card

I began by sponging Aqua Mist ink through the birches stencil and then ran it through my Cuttlebug like an impression plate. Then, I stamped the snow (also in Aqua Mist ink) while the stencil was still in place.

Next, I die cut the In The Meadow dies and textured them with the Woodgrain Impression Plate. I love that thing. I used Multi Matte Medium to add a fairly thick bead of adhesive along the top edge of each piece and embellished with the Faux Snow from the Make It Market: Wonderland Trimmings kit. I adhered those, and a strip of Holiday Plaid Patterned Paper, to the card front with flat and foam adhesives. I also tied on a white crochet thread bow.

Peace On Earth Card 2

Then, I die cut and stamped my reindeer. I used a Classic Kraft and Cocoa Bean color scheme along with a Pure Poppy nose. I also sponged a piece of white cardstock with Pale Peony ink and die cut that with a Keep It Simple Frames die. I stamped that with a sentiment from Dash Away All in Pure Poppy and stitched it to the card front. Then, I adhered the reindeer into place with foam tape and embellished his nose with Nuvo Ruby Slipper drops. I'm loving this card so much. I may need to make a few more of these to send out this Christmas.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Make sure to visit Nichole, Betsy, Heather, Laurie, and Melissa for more peeks at the release.

Then I hope you'll tune in to this month's Release Party Live! broadcast at 9pm ET on Sunday evening. I'm running a half-marathon before the broadcast and I'll still be there, so you don't have any excuses! Just kidding! But seriously, I hope you'll join us. See you soon!

I wish I was on your Christmas list, Lizzie! Absolutely love this beautiful card! It looks feminine with the pink in the plaid, but could look very masculine with a different paper. I can imagine making a set using a variety of papers & maybe different sentiments--you've inspired me!

Hi Lizzie! AWESOME card in every respect. Have I thanked you for your outstanding tutorial on every card you make? THANK YOU! It's a huge help, and I have learned a lot. :) I always sigh when I see Holiday plaid paper used because I didn't purchase it, but very happy about the new Bitty paper and I'm not waiting this time. Anyhow, thanks again Lizzie!! You ARE an inspiration!

Lizzie, I just saw your card from 3 days ago with the colors pale peony, ocean tides and pinefeather. It's an absolutely stunning color combination! Thanks so much for the inspiration!

Lizzie, thank you, thank you, thank you...a million times over. I LOVE this card and the results combining your adorable deer with the birch stencil is stunning. Even though I bought Betsy's gorgeous kit, I'll have to see if I can justify another order. Would have some explaining to do to my DH...especially after also just getting a new iPhone (but so he could have my old one). Anyway, Dash It All will be an all-time favorite with the sentiments and font choice. Thanks again, Lizzie! ❤️
