The Greetery - Fresh Summer Flowers

Good morning! I'm popping in today to share a couple of projects featuring some fabulous new products coming your way from The Greetery. The new stamps and dies being introduced this week will be available on Friday morning at 10am on The Greetery's website, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled. In the meantime, let's take a peek at these wonderful stamps!

First up, I have a card featuring the Summer Sketches stamp set. This set has a charming, carefree vibe that is truly lovely.

LizzieJones_SummerSketches_TheGreetery_June2019_1

I'm in a bit of a "forced" limited-supply-challenge these days, so I kept this card nice and simple. I cut a mask to sponge grounding rectangle behind my floral sprig. I also stamped a few tone-on-tone images to fill in the background a bit before removing the mask.

LizzieJones_SummerSketches_TheGreetery_June2019_2

The pierced rectangle adds a subtle border that gives a visible boundary without adding any additional color or bulk and keeps the design nice and clean. The sentiment is from the Simple Things set that I'll share more of in just a minute.

LizzieJones_SummerSketches_TheGreetery_June2019_3

The loose, casual style of this floral is so easy to use and forgiving on the alignment! I love that Betsy also includes solid images in a couple of layers along with the outline image. It really gives you the option to use as many or as few as you like, or to color if that's up your alley. So fun and useful!

My second card today features the new Simple Things set. I have been pining for a eucalyptus set for a very long time, so I was thrilled when I saw this one!

LizzieJones_SimpleThings_TheGreetery_June2019_1

I used the curved bough to create a bit of a wreath surrounding the greeting on my card. A mix of blending and speckles give the background on my card a touch of atmosphere that I love. I also used a mix of flat and foam adhesives to give the wreath plenty of dimension and volume.

LizzieJones_SimpleThings_TheGreetery_June2019_2

I stitched my top panel to a kraft card base to give my card a touch of earthy neutral flair. The twine bow helps on that score as well. Plus, it adds a bit of soft texture to soften the design a bit.

LizzieJones_SimpleThings_TheGreetery_June2019_3

Have you been hoping for a beautiful eucalyptus set, too? Are you as excited as I am about this set? I sure hope so!

That's all I have to share with you today, but there is a list of very talented ladies ready to share even more projects with you. Make sure to stop by and see what they have up their sleeves:
        Kay Miller

Thank you so much for joining me today! I'll be back tomorrow with more to share, so stay tuned!

Very pretty cards! I like how you used the pierced rectangle in the first card and never thought of doing that. In your second card, I liked how you didn't use a full wreath and offset the card front. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Lizzie! I’m thrilled to be here again! I can relate to your “forced” supply, I totally purged a few years back & started anew. Maybe your’s is from remodeling, mine was too in a way. Anyhow, I have always been a big fan of your style and today’s post is beautiful. I ❤️ the grounding rectangle and AWESOME eucalyptus wreath! It’s a gorgeous image and look forward to using it with many different colors and floral combinations. I Hope to be back real soon & that you have a great day! 😎

Hey, Lizzie! Your cards are DELIGHTFUL! I especially love the tone on tone images that you added to the background of the first card. It's a "simple thing" for sure, but it really elevates the design! Awesomeness! And who doesn't love eucalyptus! Your wreath is stunning. Two of my favorite things ever -- wreaths and eucalyptus. It doesn't get any better than that for me! (Hope the remodeling is going smoothly! Lucky you!)
