Text Block: Christmas - Day 2

Hello, friends, and welcome back for Day 2 of the Papertrey Ink new release countdown! I'm so glad you're joining me again today for another look at the Text Block: Christmas Die (available September 15th). It's great to hear so much enthusiasm for this die! Thank you all for your kind notes, both about the die and the move. How about we get on to today's project, eh?

I began by layering a Pure Poppy die cut onto a sticky piece of white cardstock and embellished the negative space using a custom blend of Crystal, Garnet, and Verdalite glitters.

Then, I die cut an ornament and stamped it with Limeade Ice ink. I followed up with heat embossed white powder. While the powder was hot I smooshed the ornament into a pile of the excess glitter. The glitter attached beautifully to the hot, sticky powder.

I stamped a white card base with pine branches and die cut and stamped a Get A Handle On It strip with polka dots. I attached the polka dotty strip to the card base and mounted the glittered sentiment panel on top. I gave the ornament a wire hook and silk bow before mounting it to the card front with more foam tape.

Thank you for checking in with me today! I'll be back tomorrow with another project featuring the Text Block: Christmas die. In the meantime, Nichole, Betsy, Dawn, Erin, Heather, Laura, and Maile all have peeks to share. I'll see you again soon!
