Rolling The Die

Hello again, Blogland! I hope this week is going well for you. I wanted to pop back in and share a card I made last week using Erin Lincoln's "Roll The Die" Make It Monday challenge. It had been awhile since I had made anything new and, honestly, I was in a bit of a rut. I thought Erin's worksheet would be the perfect aid to get me back in the swing of things. It worked! I went with my designated options and I had fun.

The guidelines for my card (as outlined by my rolls) were:
Vertical orientation
Sketch #6
Rosie Posie Stamp Set (starring)
We Go Together Stamp Set (supporting)
Melon Berry, Spring Moss, Simply Chartreuse, and Rustic White color combo
and Twine as an embellishment

So here's how my card turned out. Not my best work ever, but certainly not my worst either. It's all pretty self-explanatory, but it's hard to see in the photo (taken with my phone because I couldn't find the camera - sorry!) that I used the Linen & Canvas Impression Plate on the Melon Berry layer. I also masked off part of the sentiment with a piece of painter's tape so that only the top bit would be visible.

Thank you for stopping by today. Enjoy your day and I'll see you all again soon!
