Good morning, friends, and welcome back for Day 3 of the new release countdown for
The Greetery! Today's product line up is full of nature inspired goodness that is sure to knock your socks off! I know I say some version of that every day, but I mean it each and every time. Betsy's line up is giving me all the fun, creative feels.
I combined three sets to create today's card. I used the
Robin & Wren,
Blooming Branches, and
Sentiment Suite: Birthday sets for this chipper birthday greeting.
I used all of the steps when I stamped the branches, but they also look lovely with just one or two steps if you want something simpler. I used the first step alone when I was brainstorming my layout and it worked perfectly well (and would make a quicker project if you're in a rush).
I went with bright reds and oranges for my bird. I know wrens aren't red, but I thought the pop of color was a nice contrast to the more neutral tones of the branch. I mean, who wouldn't love a perky little bird wishing them a happy birthday.
The speckles give the impression of beautiful blue sky without overwhelming the card with a ton of extra color. And the woodgrain vellum mat is a subtle nod to the tree branches.
On the inside of the card, I stamped the smaller wren perched on one of the birthday messages from Sentiment Suite: Birthday. Isn't he cute?! I don't typically stamp on the inside of my cards, but I admit, I'm digging this tie-in from the front of the card. Perhaps I'll try to do this more often.
That's all I have to share with you today, but there is a list of very talented ladies ready to share even more projects with you. Make sure to stop by and see what they have up their sleeves:
Thank you again for joining me today! Have a great day and don't forget, the new products from
The Greetery go on sale Friday morning (10am ET), so you don't have much longer to wait!
