I adhered a piece of Pure Poppy + White polka dot paper and the watercolor panel to an Aqua Mist card base. I stamped one of the sentiments from the set using True Black ink on a stitched panel (cut with one of the Noted: Scalloped Square dies) that I matted with Pure Poppy and adhered to the card front. Next, I stamped the flowers from Art With Heart onto watercolor paper using Pale Peony, Berry Sorbet, Pure Poppy, and Green Parakeet inks. I fussy cut the flowers and added them to the sentiment panel with foam tape before embellishing the flower centers with crystal glitter.
I went a softer, blended direction on this next card.
Next, I sponged a scrap of white cardstock with Lovely Lady ink before die cutting with the top layer of the Layered Banner die. I stamped the sentiment from Art With Heart on that piece in Scarlet Jewel ink. The bottom layer I die cut from Autumn Rose and stamped with the lines from Layered Banner Banter using Scarlet Jewel ink. I adhered the two together and added the whole piece to the card front with foam tape. Finally, I embellished with a few sequins from the Sunshine & Rainbows Make It Market Mini Kit.

Great cards Lizzie! I love the poem stamped on the large banner like that. I'm always looking for a way to use that die and this idea is lovely!!
ReplyDeleteLove your gorgeous cards, Lizzie! Along with those pretty flowers and colors, I like that cool linen-like background that you created on the first card and I really like the striped background on the banner in the second card.
ReplyDeleteSimply gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are stunning and so artistic, Lizzie. I especially love the colour combo that you used on your second card and will be using it soon. :) Never thought about using Autumn Rose with Lovely Lady but it's gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteLizzie, you hit it out of the park with both cards. I had to read every. single. detail. Your color palette with that banner is dreamy. On your first card I'm also impressed with your brushed linen effect. Going to Pin both of these. Happy SAF weekend!
ReplyDeleteLizzie, these are both gorgeous, and I love the rich colors and how you've used this wonderful banner! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteLizzie, these cards are gorgeous! I love the dry brushed background on the background of the first card. And that lovely banner on the second card just pops. It's a good reminder to me that the focal point doesn't Lways have to be in the middle of the card.
ReplyDeleteLove your cards and the simple designs...also the use of the banner is awesome!
