Good morning, friends! Welcome to this month's Papertrey Ink Color Play feature. This month I'm playing with this color combination, inspired by a wedding cake photo from the Martha Stewart Weddings website.
I don't know about you, but lately I've been daydreaming of sunshine and flowers and warmer days. This photo brings all of that together into one very sweet package. I thought these colors would be perfect for temporarily escaping the winter blues.
How about a thank you card today?
I started by texturing a Sweet Blush panel with the Wrought Iron Impression Plate. I adhered that to a white card base and set it aside. Then I die cut the Layered Banner shape from white cardstock and Lemon Tart patterned paper. I stamped the white banner with the sentiment from the coordinating set using Canyon Clay ink and adhered the two layers together.
Then I die cut several of the flower arrangements from Bitty Bouquets and stamped them with the colors in this month's palette. I mounted the banner to the card front, overhanging just a bit, using foam tape. Then, I tucked the flowers underneath, fluffing the flowers a little to give the card a touch more dimension.
That's all for me today. Thank you all so much for joining me today. I'll see you again soon!
