Introducing The Text Block: Party Time Die

Good morning, Friends, and welcome to the first day of the Papertrey Ink January Countdown! This month I have the great pleasure of getting to introduce you to a brand new Text Block die. This fun new die is all about party time! It also features a bundle of balloons that you can color block, use to highlight a particular day, or paper piece. The possibilities are endless!

Today I've used the new Text Block: Party Time die to create a colorful birthday card with tons of playful pattern!

I began by die cutting my die shape out of white cardstock. I adhered that to an Aqua Mist layer and then die cut and stamped the individual balloons. I used images from Bitty Background Blocks and Bitty Background Blocks II to give each balloon (or balloon section) a unique pattern.

Once my focal point was assembled, I impressed a piece of Pure Poppy cardstock with the Center Stage Cover Plate and adhered it to a white card base. I wrapped baker's twine around the base a couple of times and tied it in a bow. I mounted the Text Block shape to the card front with foam tape and called it a day. I just love how cheerful the multicolored balloons make this card!

Thank you for stopping by today! I'll see you again tomorrow with another project featuring the Text Block: Party Time Die. In the meantime, make sure to check in with Nichole, Betsy, Dawn, Erin, Heather, Melissa Phillips, Lexi, and Melissa Bickford for even more projects featuring this month's release. Have a wonderful day!
