Hello again, Friends! First off, thank you all for your very kind words about the Papertrey Ink Newsletter redesign. I've received such wonderful feedback and encouragement since the launch on Friday. I can't tell you how excited I am that you're enjoying it so much!
I also wanted to share a card today that I made for my nephew's 2nd birthday. It was late last month, but Aunt Lizzie's a bit of a bum, so he's just getting it now. Luckily, he's the forgiving sort. Ha!
Anyway, I started by taking a piece of striped Spring Rain paper and laminated it with a piece of white cardstock. I knew I was going to be die cutting it and popping it up with foam tape, so the cardstock was added to give it a little stability. I die cut my clouds and added that strip to a textured white card base. Next, I die cut and colored my little airplane with Copic markers. I pierced a little flight trial (having the patterned piece already popped up made this even easier) and traced over it with a glitter pen. I smudged the glitter around so it's not super concentrated. I added the sentiment banner and embellished the heart on the plane with a smidgen of clear glaze. He may not have a clue, but I hope my sister likes it.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful day and I'll see you back here again soon.
